Ganpati Atharvashirsha is dedicated to Lord Ganesha who is the God of knowledge, wisdom and good fortune. It is a Sanskrit text and a minor Upanishad of Hinduism written by Atharv Rishi. Lord Ganesha is also known as Vighnaharta which means the remover of obstacles. In Ganpati Atharvashirsha, homage is paid to Lord Ganesha as the Supreme Deity or Param Brahmana. Worshipping Lord Ganesha with Ganpati Atharvashirsha is considered as very auspicious, powerful and beneficial for the worshippers. According to Ganesha Atharvashirsha, Lord Ganesha is a holy trinity and he is the creator, preserver and the destroyer.
